Program Overview

Schnucks has been nourishing lives since 1939 and our commitment to Midwest Family Values has been one of our most enduring trademarks since our beginning.

The Schnucks – Bags 4 My Cause program was launched to enable our stores to facilitate community support for hunger relief organizations and not-for-profits that are important to our stores’ customers, teammates, and neighborhoods.

At the same time, the program encourages increased use of reusable bags to help reduce the use and eventual disposal of paper and/or plastic bags.

Every time you purchase the Giving reusable bag for $2.99, we will donate $1 to a local not-for-profit selected by our store teams to be the monthly beneficiary of the program.

And every time you purchase the Hunger reusable bag for $2.99, we will donate $1 to a local hunger relief organization also selected monthly at each store location.

Each month, one new not-for-profit and one new hunger relief organization will be selected
by each store team to be the beneficiary of the program.

Because you’re not using paper or plastic, you’re helping the whole planet at the same time!
Nourishing lives locally and protecting our planet globally… these are the simple but profound goals of our Bags 4 My Cause program.
