Here are a few quick tips to get you started!

  • Find the reusable bag rack at the Schnucks store and share the location with your supporters.
    Let them know that the Giving bag has the message “Giving is in the Bag.”
  • While at the store, introduce yourself to the manager.
    A thank you goes a long way…
  • Post frequently on all social media sites!  Don’t be shy.  News feeds cycle quickly!

Press releases have the ability to bring great legitimacy and attention to an organization.  Included are three sample press releases: pre-program, mid-program, and post-program. The pre-program press release aims to increase awareness of the program and your organization, the mid-program seeks to inform readers of the progress of the program and is also a subtle reminder of the end date, and the post-program provides the final results.
We have kept all of the press releases under the 500 word maximum recommended word count,
so feel free to customize the samples as you see fit!

Social media is a truly effective tool that will help you stay connected and GROW your community of supporters.

It is also a GREAT way to get the word out!? If you do not have Facebook, Instagram or Twitter accounts, we HIGHLY recommend creating them for your nonprofit.? Even if you are new to social media, we have made the templates easy to use – just cut and paste!

Remember, there are NO limits on posting!

When you post on Facebook or Instagram, it becomes part of that day’s “news” and by the next day, it will be moved down the list past other posts. So don’t be shy! Post again the next day and your message
will show up on everyone’s feed!
